BGN Cluster Autumn Term report 2023

It has been a busy term of competitions and festivals for The BGN Cluster of Primary Schools.  School Games Pathway Competitions dominated with schools having the opportunity to take part in cross country, hockey, and girls’ football competitions. Tag rugby and badminton festivals were also organised for schools to participate.

Wykham park hosted The Banbury Area Key Stage 2 Cross Country on Thursday 5th October.  Bishop Loveday, Orchard Fields, St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s Aston Le Walls, and William Morris Primary Schools participated in the event.  Both team and individual qualifiers from this competition had the opportunity to compete against schools from across North Oxfordshire at The Partnership Final on Friday 1st December at Sibford School.

Bishop Loveday, Cropredy, Orchard Fields, St. John’s and St. Mary’s Aston Le Walls took part in The Banbury Area Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Festival at Banbury RFC on Thursday 12th October.  The event involved nearly two hundred children and twenty teams from eleven schools.
